WASHINGTON (Reuters [1]) – Former President Jimmy Carter on Wednesday denounced Vice President Dick Cheney as a “disaster” for the country and a “militant” who has had an excessive influence in setting foreign policy.
Given Carter’s record, the misery index, the hostage crisis and his preference for thugs, Castro, Chavez, I think Dick Cheney ought to send ole Jimmy a thank-you note. I have for more respect for the people Carter dislikes than I do the ones he likes.
