Yes, I saw the supposed showdown between Markos Moulitsas and DLC’er Harold Ford. Nothing about it was surprising. Michelle notes it [1] and links Hot Air. [2]
Ford himself, any more, is fairly unremarkable… Being to me of approximately the same value as a slightly turned cabbage roll at the $7.50 all you can eat Chinese buffet . And I’ve already commented at some length about Kos being worth less than what I scraped off my shoes last night, so, I mostly would not comment on it at all, except for the thought that struck me watching these two:
Postulate with me the kind of politics necessary to create the illusion that Harold Ford is sane. Further, postulate with me what would drive Ford to what Allah labels “ass kissing”. Indeed; the skin tone of Harold Ford, seems perfectly deployed, to prevent people from seeing that “brown nosing” had nothing to do with his race.

On the other hand,consider what would be required to get Kos to completely reversed his field on Hillary Clinton. As Allah points up, it was only a few months ago, (what, may?)… that he basically burned Hillary Clinton to the ground in an OP Ed. Now he’s also weakness and light, where Hillary is concerned. The expenditure of Kos’ saliva in that long distance tongue bath, must’ve kept the water coolers at CBS busy for the following hour. Must be why she showed up in the first place, to that hate festival in Chicago… to get him to behave himself when her name comes up. If that’s the case, one suspects that Harold Ford will no longer be a target, either, since by his appearance on CBS with Kos, he’s raised the power of the Kossacks.

I suspect favorable press is doled out in the same fashion that the New York Times. So long as the Times, or in this case, Kos is seen as a power broker, he’s cool with it, regardless of any other factor.. even if he’s complained about the individual the past.
Personally, I’m of the opinion that , Kos already has too much power on the left, than is good for the left. So, I say, more power to him. It’s like I have always said; the worst thing you can give a Liberal is precisely what they ask for.
