CHICAGO (Reuters [1]) – Muslim Americans must meld into U.S. society before suspicion and mistrust lingering since the attacks on New York and Washington isolates them and sparks radicalism in their ranks, a study said on Tuesday.
“There is an urgent national need for Muslims and non-Muslims to work together to create full and equal opportunities for civic and political participation of Muslim Americans,” the report said.
There is a process that transforms cultural immigrants into cultural Americans. It is called assimilation [2], and assimilation is what the Moslems, and their allies the liberals, have trying to avoid. Within the United States, not all culturas are equal. One who wants to be treated like an American should adopt American culture.
