It is, apparently, a measure of either how twisted our news gathering orgs have become, or that it’s a slow news day for them, when the lead story on all the TV nets this morning amounted to “Anna Nicole Simpson is still dead.”, [1] with a follow up story about how Trailer Trash Barbie is back in Rehab [2], again. And just in case we run outta stuff in those two situations, there’s always the Phil Spector trial [3] waiting in the wings.
Or perhaps they’d rather not spend any time following real news stories? I’ll bet they wonder why people refuse to take them seriously, anymore.
