Tim Russert had been described as the king of the Washington press corps. Well the king did not have a good day.
Tim Russert hobbled into the courtroom this afternoon on crutches. When he left the stand at the end of the day (slated to return for more cross-examination tomorrow) his credibility had been so hobbled it needed a pair of crutches of its own.
That is Arianna Huffington [1] describing her reation to Russet’s testimony in the Scooter Libby perjury case. It does get any prettier for Russrt.
