I see the first Wendy’s has closed. Mostly, it’s because of the way the area of downtown Columbus has developed.  Said, really.

They’ve a plan to move the memorabilia already inside the restaurant, to the Columbus suburbs.  But, since they owned both the land and the building, you would think they’d be able to put together some kind of a museum on the site, about Wendy’s and the way it developed, being as it is, a piece of America.

Tacky?  Perhaps.  But I’ve certainly seen a lot worse, and a lot less iconic.

Assuming that tear it down, and edge and with me the possibility for acting a long John Silver’s on the site.   (Chuckle)
