Irony abounds; Hillary Clinton may ahve just killed off public financing of presidential campaigns… and thereby much of the limitations attached to that financing.

Though she will doubtless sell it this way at some point during the next two years, she most certainly did not do this because of any conviction about not spending federal money. She simply doesn’t want to deal with the limitations imposed by it, during what is going to be the most expensive presidential campaign in history.
