A Tale of Two Numbers

don_surber.jpgDon Surber [1] cites some interesting poll numbers.   While the MSM is describing President Bush as a crippled lame duck, the same media is touting Mrs. Pelosi, the Speaker of the House, as the most powerful woman in America.

The President has higher approval numbers [2]:

The President’s Job Approval Ratings have bounced up slightly in the first week of the New Year. Today, 45% of Americans say they at least Somewhat Approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role.

Than does Mrs. Pelosi [3]:

Forty-three percent (43%) of Americans have a favorable opinion concerning the nation’s new Speaker of the House. The first woman to serve in that role, Nancy Pelosi (D) earns favorable reviews from 45% of women and 41% of men.

Order a bucket of wings and break out the cold beer.  This is going to be fun.
