WASHINGTON — [1] Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh will not seek the Democratic nomination for president in 2008, FOX News has learned. Bayh made the decision depsite having made several visits to test states like Iowa and New Hampshire, and raising millions of dollars toward a possible White House run.
This should not be a shock to anyone. Despite the fact that he’s raised $10 million for a possible action run, he never really had a chance at the White House. in the end, 10 million from individual backers, probably doesn’t mean all that much in the face of the amount of money that the Deaniac Democrats are going to be pouring into the Hillary Clinton campaign.
