The strangest political ground swell continues.  Why in the World is Barack Obama considered a presidential canidate?   The man has literallly no resume, no ideas and virtually no experience.   Yet now only is Obama apparently running, he may be scaring out every democrat aspirant aside from John Kerry, who can’t read a poll.

Obama reminds of a democrat version of Colin Powell.  Everybody loved Powell until he started taking positions.  Well every democrat loves Obama, but he doesn’t have any position on anything.

Lynn Sweet, Chicago, Sun-Times Columnist reports:  “Obama is going to go for it

Bottom line: I think Sen. Barack Obama, who is seriously considering a run for president, is going to jump into the 2008 race. I predict the freshman Illinois Democrat will announce near the end of this year or the beginning of 2007, sometime after he returns from a holiday break in his native Hawaii. Here’s what’s on Obama’s to-do list:

Now can anybody explain why?

  1. I can; it is the combination of the political party he belongs to and the color of his skin.  Or, to compare to a similar event in pro football, as I said before Rush got lambasted for it on MNF, the fush over Donovan McNabb’s ‘greatness’ was no more about his skill than the color of his skin.

  2. Colin Powell was quite popular that is before
he took any actual positions on anything.  If
Obama runs, he will have to take some positions,
and there goes his popularity.  I don’t take
Obama’s apparent strength as sign of his strength
but rather of PIAPS’s unelectability.  It appears that
the democrate/MSM coalition is despartity looking for a
candiate whos last name is not Clinton.

The last presidential nominee to emerge directly from the
Senate was John F. Kennedy, and like Obama Kennedy was
long on charm, albeit not very competent.  Obama might be
    a black Kennedy.
