Len Kutchma at RITE TURN ONLY [1] points up a story in the National Post today.
It looks as if payoffs, kickbacks, bribes and brown envelopes are not enough for the federal Liberals. There is now the possibility, courtesy National Post they may have tried to undermine Justice Gomery despite giving the appearance of supporting him.
Gomery is annoyed that the Martin government had a secret exchange of letters with Chretien's lawyers acknowledging that even as the former prime minister dropped his court case alleging Gomery's bias against him, he could make the same accusations later after the release of the judge's findings.Gomery didn't know about the letter. He read about it in the papers. And he's furious. The Martin government professes to support him, but it looks as if it was undermining him.
If the liberals are not out of office as a result of this, I fear our neighbors to the north are all done… Canada itself is a dead man walking… and rightly so.
