According to The Washington Daily News Online, President Bush is planing on attending the Pope’s funeral. He’d be the first US president to make such an appearence, to my memory, though I can’t confirm that at the moment.
But I wonder how that will be played among the culture of death as I mentioned over the weekend? I supose we’ll see their positions exposed as what they are, soon… very soon indeed.
Update:
AP is now reporting that the Bushes will leave midweek for the Friday Funeral, but those plans are still being finalized.
