Well, now. After years of anti-Ameican nonsense, the Germans are suddenly finding themsleves in serious hot water. As I mentioned yesterday [1], Germany is up to it’s pipicks in unemployment, inflation and is looking at serious cutbacks in it’s socialist programs. The upshot of THAT appears to be that Schroeder is playing nice again [2] regarding American initiatives in, for example, Iraq.
