Some things that have come up in the last couple weeks that don’t rate a post of their own
I’ve added to the post footer, a ‘linked by’ section, but it doesn’t appear to be working. I’m toying with that, so you may see some weirdness in the next couple days on that one.
I’ll be out of town this weekend, so posting past Friday @ about 5pm will be light to non-existant. I’ll post some pics when I get back.
I’ve waded through the blog listing services I keep in the right side column, and found some interesting things:
Blogerama has BitsBlog listed as a consistant top-100 rated blog, for the last month or so. At this writing, BitsBlog is listed as #59 overall. Given the two rather spiteful idiots I banned trying to get their licks in, this is very good indeed. Have a look, you’ll see what I mean, and add your comments.
TTLB has dropped my status back to “Adorable Rodent”. Apparently, the raise to “Marsupial” was a statistical hiccup.(shrug) Still, this blog is on a steady climb up that ladder over time. Looks rather impressive when charted over time. Next tie I’m home and thinking of it, I’ll post the graph.
Top Blogs shows BitsBlog with a similary high rating, of #85 overall.
BitsBlog is to be listed on Technorati… I’ve installed the code for that service this morning. It’ll be interesting to see what happens with that.
Blogwise has apparently thrown up, and lost my listing. I’ve re-submitted BitsBlog there.
BlogStreet lists me as being 10880 of 141307 , which isn’t bad.
All in all, a rather nice trip though the right column, this morning. It’s nice to see I’m doing far better with this blog than I was aware. I must admit being pleasantly shocked.
