LILEKS [1] day before yesterday…(I got behind there for a bit) asks what seems to me a central question surrounding the Cambodian Christmas claim:

Just so, Jim. I’ve been considering that question quite a bit this week. Is Kerry revealing something in his personality, in this lie that’s been exposed, as well as his reaction to the exposure?
It’s starting to look like there’s something under the surface here that we don’t want in the White House, regardelss of his political views… something that speaks directly to his fitness for office. I have some thoughts about what those are. I’ll be posting some of those thoughts in this weekend’s BITS BIT.
