Constitution Deadlock Plunges EU Summit Into Gloom

“BRUSSELS (Reuters) – The European Union’s landmark summit to agree a first constitution was plunged into gloom almost as soon as it began Friday as leaders stood their ground in a bitter battle over their nations’ voting rights.”
As I suggested would happen when the EU was first proposed, it has is a peitri dish of liberalism. The EU government is an attempt to impose law across multiple cultures. As such, it ends up breaking down by cultural factions, with each faction trying to use the power of government toward it’s own ends, to the destruction of all. The idiots are dooming themselves, and don’t know it.
