Word reached me today of Bob Hope’s passing. I suppose I ought to be sad, and in a way I am, since this is the first time in my life there hasn’t been a Bob Hope. Yet, I’m not; How many people get to live as full and as long a life has Hope did? All I can do is pass on my respects to the family, which I am sure they’re getting in great volumes, anyway.
